Easter Sunday!

Good morning, everyone! This morning we have our Easter breakfast at 9:30 in the fellowship hall downstairs. Come for pancakes, eggs, hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy, donuts, coffee, and more! The breakfast is free.

Then at 10:30 we will have our worship service with a sermon from Pastor Gabe about understanding the meaning of the resurrection. "If you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God" (Colossians 3:1).

(We will not be having a Sunday evening service tonight. It'll resume next week, April 23.)

Holy Week Services Coming April 9-16

From Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday, we will have evening worship each night starting at 6:00. Join us for singing, prayer, and teaching from the word of God. Services will wrap up before 7:00.

The devotional each evening will correspond with what Jesus did during that week leading up to His death on the cross and resurrection from the grave. In our Thursday evening service, we will share together in the Lord's Supper.

On Easter Sunday, we will join in the fellowship hall for breakfast starting at 9:30. Our worship service will still be at the usual time at 10:30. Please come and join us!

No AWANA or Wednesday Activities Tonight

This is just a reminder that there will be no AWANA, no fellowship meal, or other activities this evening at the church since it is Spring Break. (Palauan Bible Study will still be held in the garage classroom behind the church.)

Also, no one will be in the office Thursday or Friday. If you need to get a hold of anyone or would like to visit with Pastor Gabe, please send an e-mail to and someone will be in contact with you.

Heritage Service, Sunday Evening, March 5

Sunday, March 5, is the beginning of our Sunday evening service we are calling our Heritage Service. We will most often be hearing a sermon from sometime in church history. The first sermon we will hear is the oldest sermon on record outside of the New Testament, believed to have been written by one of the early church fathers. The one-hour service begins at 6:00.

Don't forget that Saturday morning, March 4, is our family breakfast starting at 9:00! Chris Solano will be preaching on Sunday morning, and we will partake in the Lord's Supper.

Q&A and Members Meeting Sunday

It's been a while since we had a Q&A! We've collected questions from the congregation over the material we've covered in the first four chapters of 1 Corinthians, and Pastor Gabe will be answering those questions in Sunday's sermon.

After church today, we'll be having a members meeting. Pizza will be served downstairs in the fellowship for those attending, and then the meeting will be in the sanctuary. All members of FSBC are encouraged to attend.

Spaghetti Luncheon After Church Today

Don't forget that today after church, we'll be having our annual AWANA spaghetti luncheon in the fellowship hall! Also featuring our cake and pie silent auction. All of the proceeds go to benefit our AWANA program, teaching our children Bible memorization on Wednesday evenings.

Pastor Gabe will be preaching from 1 Corinthians 4:8-13 today in a sermon entitled Exhibited. Sunday school is at 9:30 and the worship service is at 10:30.

Continue to pray for Chris and Adrea Solano as they enter their last week of the work they're doing in Sierra Leone. The following is a photo of one of the new buildings they are working on, helping to provide updates to the orphanage and church they're ministering to.
