Our Vacation Bible School week is coming up June 5-9. We're doing a military theme under the title "Call to Action," as Jesus said to stay dressed for action (Luke 12:35). We'll be going through Romans 12:9-21 with the kids and teaching them the marks of a true Christian.

In addition to the Bible lessons, there will be crafts, games, snacks, skits, and music. Register by calling us at (785) 762-4404 or e-mail Leave your name, number, and your child's name and age. Suggested donation is $5 per child which you can pay on the first day of VBS. We'll meet from 6:00 to 7:30 each evening. Jubilee Kinney is the VBS director.

Easter Sunday!

Good morning, everyone! This morning we have our Easter breakfast at 9:30 in the fellowship hall downstairs. Come for pancakes, eggs, hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy, donuts, coffee, and more! The breakfast is free.

Then at 10:30 we will have our worship service with a sermon from Pastor Gabe about understanding the meaning of the resurrection. "If you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God" (Colossians 3:1).

(We will not be having a Sunday evening service tonight. It'll resume next week, April 23.)

Holy Week Services Coming April 9-16

From Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday, we will have evening worship each night starting at 6:00. Join us for singing, prayer, and teaching from the word of God. Services will wrap up before 7:00.

The devotional each evening will correspond with what Jesus did during that week leading up to His death on the cross and resurrection from the grave. In our Thursday evening service, we will share together in the Lord's Supper.

On Easter Sunday, we will join in the fellowship hall for breakfast starting at 9:30. Our worship service will still be at the usual time at 10:30. Please come and join us!

No AWANA or Wednesday Activities Tonight

This is just a reminder that there will be no AWANA, no fellowship meal, or other activities this evening at the church since it is Spring Break. (Palauan Bible Study will still be held in the garage classroom behind the church.)

Also, no one will be in the office Thursday or Friday. If you need to get a hold of anyone or would like to visit with Pastor Gabe, please send an e-mail to and someone will be in contact with you.

Heritage Service, Sunday Evening, March 5

Sunday, March 5, is the beginning of our Sunday evening service we are calling our Heritage Service. We will most often be hearing a sermon from sometime in church history. The first sermon we will hear is the oldest sermon on record outside of the New Testament, believed to have been written by one of the early church fathers. The one-hour service begins at 6:00.

Don't forget that Saturday morning, March 4, is our family breakfast starting at 9:00! Chris Solano will be preaching on Sunday morning, and we will partake in the Lord's Supper.
