Trunk or Treat

Thursday is Halloween! And we'll be hosting our annual Trunk or Treat in the front parking lot of the church from 6:00 to 8:00. Kids from around Junction City will be stopping by for candy, and we'll have a chance to witness to them about Christ as well. Those who are participating, please try to be here by 5:30 as we get set up.

MOPS Spaghetti Dinner -- With Pam's Pies!

Mothers of Pre-Schoolers are serving up a spaghetti dinner after church this Sunday. Plan on 12:15 in the fellowship hall downstairs. In addition to some good spaghetti, Pam Flores is contributing her award-winning homemade pies! (Not sure if they've won an award, but they should.)

All of the proceeds, from the dinner and the money raised from selling the pies, will benefit our MOPS ministry. Stick around after church, enjoy the fellowship, and help a great ministry!

Fish Fry Tonight

Hey, just a reminder that for tonight's fellowship meal, we're having fried fish and onion rings! The meal starts at 5:00. It's $2 for kids, $4 for adults, or $8 for the whole family. If you've never eaten with us before, the first time is free!

Tonight is mustache night at AWANA. And kids, don't forget your non-perishable food items to help us stock our food pantry!

AWANA Food Drive

Tonight is the first food drive for our new food pantry downstairs! The AWANA kids are asked to bring non-perishable food items, and the food will be sorted by group. For example, the Cubbies will have their own bin to put food in, as well as Sparks, T&T, and so on. Will measure it out at the end of the night to see who wins!

Don't forget our fellowship meal is tonight at 5:00. We'll be serving cheeseburger macaroni, green beans, corn, and cake for dessert. The cost is $2 per kid, $4 for adult, or $8 will cover the whole family! If you've never eaten with us before, the first time is free!

Baptism Yesterday

Congratulations to Michelle Glover who was baptized yesterday during our 11:00 service! Her baptism is an outward expression of an inward change, baptized in Christ's death and raised with Him in new life.

If you would like to be baptized, visit our Services page. Scroll down to find out information about the ordinances that we practice, as well as info about membership.

"Divine Design" Women's Study This Week

Our women's Bible study, Divine Design, is meeting again this Sunday in the fellowship hall downstairs at 3:00. Even if you weren't able to attend the initial meet-and-greet we had a couple of weeks ago, please feel free to join in with the ladies on Sunday!

The food theme this week is apples. If you're able to, bring something to share that is apple themed (or any kind of fruit in general). The study will end at 4:30. You are welcome to stay and chat afterwards!

There is no cost to be a part of the study. If you would like a copy of the book, they are $15. Visit with Vicki Bliesner for more info.

Tonight's Fellowship Meal

Our Wednesday night fellowship meal consists of fried sausage and potatoes, corn, fruit, and a dessert. Like always, our meal is $2 per child, $4 per adult, or $8 will pay for the whole family. If you've never eaten our fellowship meal with us before, the first time is free! We'll see you tonight starting at 5:00, and then AWANA and Bible studies at 6:00.

Missions Luncheon

Good morning! This is a reminder to let you know that we're having our missions luncheon this afternoon, following the second service (so it should start around 12:15). This luncheon is for a free-will offering. All of the proceeds will benefit Mandie Doek and her missions trip to Ethiopia this December. Come and enjoy beefy macaroni, salad, rolls, and some yummy desert!

Lifechain Sunday and Business Meeting

This coming Sunday is Lifechain Sunday. From 2pm to 3pm, we will be gathering in Heritage Park (on the corner of 6th and Washington) to pray against a culture of abortion. There will be people with signs, but this is not a loud protest. It is only to remind the public that abortion is murder, and life begins in the womb.

The church is encouraged to participate. We will have our Business Meeting at the church beginning at 3:30. One of the things we need to vote on is the appointing of a new church clerk.

Men's Fellowship Breakfast

The men's fellowship breakfast is coming up this Saturday morning, 9:00 in the fellowship hall at the church. There is no cost for the meal -- the food is paid for. You just need to bring yourself (and feel free to bring a friend). Enjoy some good food and fellowship with the men of FSBC!
