No Wednesday Night Activities

Just a reminder that there are no Wednesday night activities this week. Our offices will be closed the rest of the week for the holidays. We'll resume our regular Wednesday night schedule next week with our fellowship meal at 5:00, AWANA at 6:00, and then adult Bible study in the garage classroom at 6:30. A reminder that this Sunday, we'll be starting in on Romans 9.

Come In From the Cold

As Ecclesiastes 4:11 says, how can one keep warm alone? We invite you to church this morning and let the worship of the Lord with his saints warm your heart! Sunday school is at 9:30 and our church service is at 10:30. Come a little early and help yourself to some coffee and donuts.

We've still got the Christmas decorations up for one more Sunday. Pastor Gabe will be preaching from Matthew 1:1-17 on the genealogy of Christ. If you have any prayer needs or just need to talk to someone, visit with our pastor or one of our elders after church. It's cold out, but our welcoming church is ready to greet you with warmth!

Christmas Eve Service 6:00 Tonight!

We hope you're planning on joining us for our Christmas Eve service, starting at 6:00. We'll be singing Christmas carols by candlelight, and being fed with a short message from the word of God.

After the service, we'll get together for cookies and punch downstairs. Bring some cookies if you are able. If not, don't let that stop you from enjoying some refreshments and fellowship!

We'll wrap up the evening by 7:00 so you can get to your family celebrations. Merry Christmas!

The Genealogy of Christ

The next couple of Sundays, Pastor Gabe is going to be preaching on a section of the Christmas story that often gets skipped -- the genealogy of Jesus in Matthew 1:1-17. The reason it skipped is not because it's uninteresting. It's probably because we don't understand how interesting it truly is! Join us for our Christmas week service with Sunday school starting at 9:30 and worship beginning at 10:30.

We have our holiday potluck after church this morning, starting at about noon. Bring something if you can! Plan on sticking around and eating with us after service.

More Than Conquerors

We finish Romans 8 this morning as Pastor Gabe is going to be preaching on what it means to be more than a conqueror. Today's study will be in Romans 8:31-39.

Our children have been decorating the Christmas trees in our sanctuary with Chrismons, ornaments that bear symbols of Christianity. Today, there are three more symbols they'll be adding during Kids Connection. Please come and join us as we sing some more carols and lift praises to our God and King!

Sunday school begins at 9:30 and our church worship service starts at 10:30. Come early for coffee and donuts!

Lord's Supper and Romans 8:28 This Morning

In our study of Romans, we've arrived at one of the most popular verses in the Bible: Roman 8:28. "And we know that all things work together for good, for those who love God and are called according to His purpose." Join us this morning as Pastor Gabe presents a sermon on Romans 8:28-30, and we also come to the table for communion.

The following is a video on Romans 8:28 from Pastor Gabe's ministry, When We Understand the Text. Consider this a :90 teaser to today's message!

Men's and Women's Breakfast

What was once our monthly men's breakfast is getting a bit of a re-vamp this morning. It is now a men's and women's breakfast! We'll all meet together and eat in the fellowship hall at 9:00 (the men will be cooking). After that, the men will break away to do their devotional, and the woman will go to another room for their devotional. And the guys will take the kids so the ladies can get some time for themselves. The breakfast is free! Park around back and enter through the double doors.

Wednesday Evening Fellowship Meal

Tonight for our fellowship meal, we'll be serving a baked potato bar! Help yourself to a potato with all the fixings: chili, cheese, sour cream, broccoli, butter, and more. We'll start serving at 5:00 and finish by 6. The cost is $2 per child, $4 per adult, or $8 will feed the whole family.

AWANA starts back up this evening at 6:00, and adult Bible study will be in the garage classroom at 6:30. Pastor Gabe is taking us through the book of Deuteronomy. We'll finish up  by 7:45. Hope to see you here!
